I’m guessing they have enough episodes from the 1977-1984 series in case if the 3 day marathon start 2-5hours earlier

They will probably include The Ropers and Three's a Crowd.

It's a big letdown tuning in and expecting to tune into Three's Company, but it is a Three's A Crowd episode that is on.

How come those spinoff shows get bundled anyways?

It's not like Joey episodes are bundled with Friends marathons on other networks.

Actually there are 72 hours in 3 days and each episode is half an hour so two episodes fit into an hour. So it’s 72x2=144 episodes that will air and the entire series had 172 episodes so I doubt any Ropers or Three’s a Crowd episodes will be mixed in. There will be 28 episodes that don’t air during this marathon.

I don't mind The Ropers so much but can't stand There's a Crowd, and I don't know why they bundle those spinoffs but they've been doing it forever. TAC was so unpopular but keeps getting treated as if it was another season of TC.
