hey im watching the episode Mike's Friend on Me-tv i Notice Archie is not on this episode, And There is no Mention of Him at all, did anyone else catch this

The IMDB trivia section states that this episode was taped early in the season when O'Connor was demanding more $$$

I thought this was a pretty memorable Season 5 episode. Gloria certainly had become very angry with Mike on occasion, like in "Black Is the Color of My True Love's Wig" (Season 4), with Gloria yelling "...so you can cheat on your wife!" -- but with the "Mike's Friend" episode, the future of their marriage is truly called into question.

Importantly, we see that they really may not be compatible, where before there were only spats -- routine stuff that would accompany married life for most any couple.
