This episode was one last night, it's the one where Laura is nervous about meeting Rob's parents for the first time, and takes some of Millie's prescription pills to relax. Mary turns in some marvelously goofy acting high as a kite. I like the way she calls Mrs. Petrie "Moo-moo". One of the better flashback episodes IMO.
Anyway, I was thinking this might have been a little risque at the time, it's very much drug humor. Could almost have stuck Cheech and Chong in there. And every time Millie brings out that bottle of pills, I think of the Rolling Stones' "Mother's Little Helper".
Millie serving peas and carrots is an iconic image, especially when seen at double speed at the end of the episode.
