as far as great sales?

Back in the 2000's I bought so many TV DVDs from deepdiscount because they had the great buy one get one free sales and lower prices in general,

I always wanted the Eight Is Enough series but it was always expensive, but I notice Amazon is 25.00 for season 2 and DD is 41.00

If you're a regular buyer like I used to be, you'd find that even new discount codes would produce an error: "You've already applied this code!", which is annoying.

Plus shipping times could be erratic-- sometimes on time, sometimes delayed with no explanation.

I stopped using them after complaining directly to them about packaging double-sized digipak cd's in those cardboard, sticky sandwich-type mailers that crushed the spines of the product. Also, if I bought cd's and records together, they would pancake them in the same packaging, damaging the artwork, and sometimes warping the records, in the process.

Their pricing for imports to the US from the UK are usually a dollar or more higher than the competition, as well.

I'm done with them for now. Unless things improve, which I doubt.

Another alternative for you may be CCVideo.com they have been around since 1987, they have a yearly catalog you can purchase and in there each month they have promotions for each month, or you can subscribe to there monthly catalog for $3 a year and they also have promotions each month, right now they have free shipping over $25 this month, they are have imports, a music collection, as well as DVD's marked "Not in stores" -

Movies Unlimited, which also sells TV DVDs, is another option.
