On Catchy I see they air a disclaimer before this episode about the strong subject matter and give it a TV-14 DLSV rating instead of the usual TV-PG DL rating. This was the episode where Edith was almost raped.

Medea killed her children onstage in 431 BC, and the theater goers of Athens managed without a warning.

Because Tyler Perry can do no wrong.

I give them credit for not skipping the episode, which would've been easy to do -- and a wrong decision.

I wonder what MeTV will do. Much larger audience, probably.

MeTV and Catchy are sister stations owned by the same people and they have the same prints so they will probably do the same thing.

She does not get raped. She fights back and wins. Everyone should watch it. Its a great lesson to never give up and fight and plan for your escape.
Yet the kids shoot and kill people on their video games that have no warning.

I actually dislike the episode. The show jumped the shark when the kids moved out and this was done simply for shock value. Its very similar to when Beverly LaSalle was killed. They were running out of ideas and threw in something for shock value.

I think All in the Family and Maude was only intended to be seen Live. They are not light enough to be watched over and over in syndication

Did the KKK 2-parter tonight have any disclaimer?

I didn’t see it and my recordings on Frndly somehow only got the second part so I didn’t see a disclaimer but it did get a TV-14 DL rating instead of TV-PG DL.

Are you sure CBS might have not had something on it when it first aired?

There's an episode of Good Times which had a disclaimer which I can't remember the name but the disclaimer looked like it was from the time it first aired.

This. I hated this episode so much that it took me another 20 years before I could sit down and watch it again. There had already been a similar episode with Gloria almost getting raped, but it was like the writers were so disappointed that they couldn't go far with it at the time, so tried again with Edith. It felt very sleazy and exploitative; you can hear the audience giggling nervously because they were so shocked and uncomfortable.
