Do you light off any fireworks?

If so, what kinds?

I have not been in America for the holiday in over twenty years so I don’t know. I am pretty sure on my hometown they are still shot off in earnest. A high school classmate did a video one 4th night trying to distinguish between fireworks and bullets. Lots of bullets in Memphis and this is one time of the year where it’s no problem.

I know being from Memphis that selling them was illegal so we had to go to Mississippi over the state line to get them. My father loved fireworks and he knew someone who had a fireworks factory. It’s not there anymore, and I think you can guess why. BOOM.

There are videos of fireworks stands on YouTube catching on fire. Amazing and oddly humorous at the same time.

I don't. Too dangerous. I instead watch professional fireworks shows.

I don't light them off either. I never really liked to. Some years I'll go to watch the Macy's show depending which river it's on that year. Usually, I'll just watch from the balcony or the window. We can see several professional shows at the same time from the balcony.
