Show would be worth watching if just for Valerie/Barbara. But I could not stand Schneider trying this show when it first came to Antenna TV. That creep sleazeball needed fired abusing his position, constantly entering their apartment uninvited for non-professional reasons. I know I do want to see the Jay Leno episode at some point.

I count 11 episodes listed at IMDb where he’s ’credits only’. And of course there’d be a bunch where he’s only a scene or so, but I don’t have the time or energy to try and figure out and remember which ones.

But it’s not fair and close-minded to condemn a show or character if you haven’t seen every episode. Yes, the door thing stayed till the end, but they gave the character a lot more depth as the years rolled on.
