I can't vote.
I liked Spike but if he became a regular cast member he would have been an irritating little Fonzie clone. The novelty would have worn off. It gives Chachi the edge in who should be a regular character unless they developed Spike further.

I agree-it would have worn off, but so did Chachis WAWAWA's. lol. I think, IMO- they never should have had Chachi, instead they had Spike on, but not ALL the time. You know, like 3-4 times a season just to keep it fresh. Like when Fonzie had his funeral, THAT would have been a great episode for him to be a guest on.
