The Ricardo’s and Mertzes Go To Mexico:

(The Ricardos and Mertzes arrive in the Ricardos stateroom.)

Lucy: “Oh Ricky! What a stateroom.”

Fred: “Wow! This stateroom must cost a fortune.”

Ethel: “It doesn’t matter what it costs Fred. You would never pay for it.”

(Ricky laughs.)

Ricky: “Mr. Band Manayer, are all the people in the band on board.”

Fred: “Yes captain.”

Lucy: “Oh Ricky, about your show tonight, can I…”

Ricky: “No.”

Lucy: “You said ‘no’ before I asked the question. You didn’t know what question I asked.”

Ricky: “Yes, I do. ‘Can I Be In The Show?’”

Lucy: “You can but what about me?”

Ricky: “No and that’s FINAL. Come on Fred. Let’s get the band ready. See you later.”

(Ricky leaves.)

Lucy: “Ethel, please help me out. I’m going to be in the show tonight.”

Ethel: “What are you gonna do?”

Lucy: “With Ricky’s money, I bought one of the dresses. He will be so ecstatic when I make him famous tonight.”

Ethel: “You mean famous with rage.”

Lucy: “Ethel, come on. I’ll show you the dress.”

(Later that night, it’s showtime. Ricky is with the Mertzes.)

Ricky: “Where’s Lucy?”

Fred: “Who kniws with that crazy girl.”

Ethel: “Don’t worry. She will be here.”

(Ricky gets back on stage. He is standing in front of the pool. Everyone of the girls has roller skates. Ricky sings a number about roller skates. He sees Lucy on the skates. He is upset. Lucy can’t control herself and rolls into Ricky which causes both of them to fall into the pool. They both get out.)

Lucy: “Are you wet dear?”

(Ricky is REALLY FUMING.)

Lucy: “Cone on Ricky. That was hilarious.”

(Lucy laughs then cries.)
