Good Lord, I absolutely hated the episodes with her. Am I the only one? It's like when she came into the house, the last season and a half were largely about her and her friends. I still contend that Cosby made a grave mistake when he fired Cockroach. THat would have been an AWESOME spin off with him and Theo. Ahhhh... I miss the 80's! :)

Ditto to that!!!!
And as for Pam...I didn't like her either. I have nothing against Erika Alexander, because I think she is a good actress. But the character of Pam annoys me. I felt like she was just there to replace Vanessa after Tempestt Bledsoe started college and appeared less and less on the show.
I also think they tried to make her more street-wise so they could explore issues like inner-city youth, sex, and birth control that were never really introduced as story-lines for the clean-cut Huxtable children. I think they thought she would bring a little controversy and draw a younger crowd of viewers...they were wrong!!!
To me, Pam changed The Cosby Show. After her arrival, I found myself waiting for Thursday and hoping it wasn't a "Very Special Pam Episode." That ruined the show for me. Thank goodness there were still a few good episodes from those seasons without Pam as the sole focus.
***Oh, and don't get me started on her friends!!!

Yeah you are right about cockroach, he was the man-one of all time favorites with theo and cockroach is the dance mania episode-by the way, that was cockroach's last appearance-And Pam did not fit on the at all. Waste of time.
