Bob Mackie designed around 65 to 70 costumes per week, and that was just for The Carol Burnett Show.

I get so sad watching how much TLC he put into those gorgeous costumes, only to become an obscure figure. He was the Edith Head of TV. He had a sense of humor, too; those gowns he made for Harvey Korman in drag were hilarious, especially when he would play a yenta! :lol:
