Have you ever asked your parents what other possibilites for your name were? I was going to be named either Dawn, Kari, or Candice (yech) before I was named Marisa.....

My dad wanted me to be either a Jennifer or a Samantha... my mom wanted Elizabeth. I have no idea where Caitlin came from. :D

I was almost named Valerie, Sylvia, or Leah. Then my mother read an article about Caroline Kennedy and decided she liked her name. lol

My mom wanted to name me rachel or sarah and my dad wanted to name me susan and my mom decided she wanted to name me sarah but my dad still wanted to name me susan and they argued about it for a long time but then they decided that if i have dark ahir theyll name me sarah and if i had light hair theyll name me susan. THANK GOD MY HAIR WAS DARK!

Jenna....dude that woulda been awesome, but my cousin's name is Jenni so they decided on Amy...

My parents had a lot of considerations but off the top of my head:

Girl:Casey,Micah,Allison,Sarah.

Boy:Andrew,Casey,Shea Patrick.

They decided they wanted my first name to be Sara(without the H) they wanted my middle name to be Allison but because they took off the H in my first name they took off an L from my middle name.My name is Sara Alison.

Well I was gonna be named either Josephine or Vanessa. I wish my mother would have chosen Josephine since it sounds sort of like Josette. *sigh*

My name is Jack, anyways, I was gonan be named Helen if I was a girl since some of my parents ) and mine) 's name was Helen who were female, but Jack is my name and I'm 13

My first name was almost Corinne. And my middle name was almost Nicole. But I ended up being named Tara Melissa.....thats okay tho...I like my name...sometimes...

My name could've been Jennifer, Stephanie, Amanda, Robyn, or many more, but mom decided on Emily.

My mom had 3 girls names picke out. Kristin, Kirsten and Maryette. She finally decided in Kristin. She had a bunch of boys names picked out. Timothy, Jason, Scott, Patrick and David are the ones I remember. I probably would have been named Timothy if I was a boy though. My mom really liked that name. I think it's cool too.

If I was a boy, my parents were going to name me Jeremy. They had pretty much decided on the name Heather if I was a girl, but my mom changed her mind and decided to name me Shannon.
