For the first three seasons, you can say that the show was very clean with relatable plots, and Bill Cosby was lighthearted and genuinely funny. But after that, it got caught up in the success and hype and all the characters got progressively unlikable and unrelatable. And they were just grasping at straws by the time Cousin Pam moved in.
