I've had my share of them over my life,some mild, some laid me out flat and in bed for a couple days and other situations as well, but they have always gone away in time and on our body's time.
I have NOT had a cold in about 40 yrs, thanks to Vit C, and other immune system supports...
There are a number of viruses that can potentially cause the common cold, including rhinoviruses, enteroviruses, coronaviruses, and human metapneumovirus. A cold usually begins with a sore throat and runny nose then develops into coughing and sneezing.

Talking to some other folks on a forum we are discussing this issue. The members are all "senior variety" and I'm the oldest, that is pretty normal in my life on forums, and we are all coming to some conclusions on where we've all been for the last few years.
