View Full Version : A question about Frasier syndication
Brian Damage 08-28-2002, 01:51 PM With Will & Grace and Dharma & Greg coming to syndication in the fall, does anybody know if that will affect Frasier on the WB in NY. When Everybody Loves Raymond came to syndication last year, Frasier was pushed back from 11:30pm to 12:00am. Will Frasier be moved yet again? Just curious?!?

No, Frasier will remain at 12am. Dharma at 6pm, Will & Grace at 6:30, 7-8 Friends and Raymond same for 11-12.
Check out my post on the General board about NCY locals this fall.
Brian Damage 08-28-2002, 03:59 PM Thanks pavanbadal, I'll do that.
AdiTheGame 09-13-2002, 09:40 PM Your wrong, Frasier will be moved back. Here is the schedule for the WB day..
5:00- The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
5:30- Sabrina, the Teenage Witch
6:00- Dharma & Greg
6:30- Will & Grace
7:00- Friends
7:30- Everbody Loves Raymond
8-11- PRIMETIME
11:00- Friends
11:30- Everybody Loves Raymond
12:00- Will & Grace
12:30- Frasier
1:00- Inside Edition
1:30- Taxi
2:00- Suddenly Susan
Of course 12-1 on Monday will have Honeymooners. Cheers is bumped off, ending it off-network syndication run since 1987. :( Isn't that like the third longest only behind I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners.

Well yes, but look at the date of this post, August...
I already said the time changed on the General Sitcoms board. Cheers came back last year, before that it wasn't on for a year or two.
I Love Lucy was on WNYW for many years, not WPIX.
Cheers Fanatic 09-13-2002, 09:44 PM What do you mean? isn't Cheers still on Nick at Nite? I think i'm confused.............

Yes it is on Nick @ Nite. We are talking about WPIX, the WB in NYC.
AdiTheGame 09-13-2002, 09:51 PM Cheers is still on NAN, but I meant off-network syndication, NAN isn't off-network.
I meant Honeymooners and ILL in general, not on WPIX. I hope makes a comeback on WB. I loved the nightly line-up. Friends, ELR, Frasier, Cheers are some of my favorite shows of all-time. If WPIX would have won Seinfeld over FOX, and they did Friends, Seinfeld, Frasier, Cheers, it would be like a classic television block! TBS is having a great block this October with Friends, Home Improvement, Drew Carey, and Seinfeld. I hope Frasier gets picked up by TBS because WB is slowly pushing it off.

One correction--cable syndication is still considered off-network.
AdiTheGame 09-13-2002, 09:59 PM Hmm, but doesn't off-network mean when a show gets picked up in syndication while it is still running new episodes on another network? Such as That 70s Show, Dharma & Greg, and Will & Grace are doing this year?

Off-network means off the network it originally aired. So locals and cable syndication is considered off-network.

I absolutely agree and I have no clue why?!? The ratings are pretty decent I thought???
AdiTheGame 09-16-2002, 04:02 PM They are ... but haven't they been in syndication for about five years now? Maybe that's why.
