In the 2000's ABC debuted the chance for people who dreamed of sharing their inventions with the world with American Inventor. In American Inventor inventors from around the world got the chance to show off their inventions and share their stories about their inventions with a panel of judges and a inventor was voted off each week until the winning inventor was crowned with a cash prize and the chance for his/her invention to be sold in stores. American Inventor lasted one season but it was a great show and I wonder why there hasn't been another show devoted to finding the next big inventor?
