In 1958 Procter And Gamble came up with a new detergent to get clothes clean and was very simple to use and even today many people still buy this detergent to get clothing washed easily. The product is known as Tide and to introduce it to the public a commercial was launched. With music sounding like a romantic movie the commercial debuted with Tide's first slogan "the cleanest clean under the sun" while a beach is featured then a woman is shown hanging washed clothes on a clothesline while a big sun appears revealing the Tide Detergent box. Since 1958 it's no secret that Tide is still popular today because it's part of American history and it's also amazing that Tide commercials are still popular today with many different slogans throughout it's history
