I read earlier today that actor Treat was killed yesterday in a motorcycle accident. His last episode was just a month ago and we learned that his character had been diagnosed with cancer and so I guess the big question is will another actor keep the character going or will the writers go ahead and write that he succumbed to the sickness during the summer when the next season begins?

Treat Williams, who played Lenny Ross on "Blue Bloods," passed away on June 12, and several of his co-stars have released touching tributes to the actor.

What Tom Selleck had to say was actually said by him during one episode that took place sometime after Linda's crash in season eight I believe it was.
