On today's Google Doodle, a scone with cream on top of strawberry jam and a scone with strawberry jam on top of cream are glaring at each other. At first I thought,"These look like strawberry shortcakes. It must be National Strawberry shortcakes. I looked up ,"Today's Google Doodle," and it says the Google Doodle represents the debate whether cream or jam goes first on scones.:crazy:
So, do YOU put cream or jam first on scones? :)

It's not National Strawberry Shortcakes Day, but it is the Anniversary of Afternoon Tea in England and Afternoon Tea is when English People enjoy scones and tea. Cream on top, jam on bottom is the Cornwall way of eating scones. Jam on bottom, cream on top is the Devon way of eating scones. :D
