Did it sound like Maureen on The Brady Bunch often pronounced many things hilariously oddly or pretentiously? Probably the most (in)famous word she pronounced oddly on the show was "school", and Christine Taylor reproduced it in the two Brady Bunch movies from the '90s by always pronouncing it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JTSAKFDSVw) as "skyuul".

There was one particular episode, where the kids decide that they want to pull a prank on Alice by frightening her with a ghost, and Maureen (Marcia) pronounces the word "werewolves" as "wurr-wolves."

Even on The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, Maureen while cosplaying as Dorothy Gale (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lFdh7tdfYo) from The Wizard of Oz, appears to pronounce her dog Toto's name as "Toe-Toe".

Odd diction occurs when your nose gets clobbered by a football and when you have to wear fake braces for one episode.

Were wolves pronounced as two words, she would have done it correctly. They probably just didn't notice it in time to correct her.
