NOTE:This is what I THINK NOT What I WANT

ABC
8 Simple Rules-This one is going to last 2 or 3 years and then become a USA Staple.
Life With Bonnie-If ABC is REALLY desperate they'll renew this show for a 2nd season and then dump it halfway through.
Less Than Perfect-By January People will be calling it "The Andy Dick Show" and ABC will put in on hiatus until July,Never to be seen again after that.
That Was Then-Both this show and The WB's frightningly similar Do Over will both fold in January.

UPN
Half and Half-UPN's only new comedy out of a whopping 3 shows. It'll most likely last mainly because UPN is so damn desperate for a hit show.

The WB
What I Like About You-Let's be honest. It's got staying power and a good timeslot.I predict 4 or 5 years.
Greetings for Tucson-It'll last the whole season but won't come back.
Do Over-No one will be watching. It'll fold in November.
Family Affair-Much like Do Over it will go by November.

FOX
Oliver Beane-What you haven't heard of this show? That's because it'll be cancelled by March!
The Grubbs-It'll last until April and will never be seen again.
Firefly-It'll become a cult Sci-Fi hit but FOX will cancel it by March.
Cedric The Entertainer Presents-It has "Cancelled by March" all over it!
Girl's Club-David E. Kelley fans will be expecting Ally Mcbeal and that's EXACTLY what their getting and FOX won't be happen.I Say March will be when this show is put out of it's misery!

NBC
American Dreams-It'll last 3 or 4 years judging by what I've seen.
Good Morning Miami-I'll see you March! Wait no I won't! You'll be CANCELLED in March!
In-Laws-A Scripted Meet My Folks? Yep.NBC will cancel ir in April.
Hidden Hills-The Season's irst cancelation....After only 2 Episodes!

CBS
Still Standing-It won't be Still Standing for too long.CBS will cancel it in December!
Bram and Alice-It'll be cancelled along with Becker in December.

Current Shows I Expect to Be Cancelled:
Becker
Buffy
Friends
Girlriends
Baby Bob
One on One
SabrinaThe Drew Carey Show
Dawson's Creek
Angel

Seems like you don't have much faith in the new shows.

You don't think many shows new shows will last long.

My opinion on Good Morning Miami it will last for quite awhile. Why? It's after Will and Grace which finished 8th last season and most shows that are after big hit shows do very well. Plus the show looks pretty good.

I think "Hidden Hills" "In Laws" & "Good Morning Miami" look very good. For once, I'll be watching these new NBC sitcoms. I hope they last. These three shows have had VERY good promotion. Have you noticed though, ABC and NBC seem to be HEAVILY promoting their new shows, which *may* work for them. I know from the promos that *I* want to watch theses. American Dreams seems like it will last, and I want it too, but I have a feeling it won't. FOX I think will *not* have a hit with Firefly. I don't know why, but I just don't think it will. Friday dramas on FOX do not do very well (of course, X-Files is an exception). FOX made a mistake cancelling Dark Angel (I was never a fan, but it seemed good and interesting). John Doe will not last. (I'm probably leaving a few shows out, so sorry, LOL)

ABC:
8 Simple Rules... - John Ritter AND Katey Sagal. Bound to succeed (At least I hope it will)
Less Than Perfect - A quirky comedy, MIGHT succeed, but I agree that it will probably become the Andy Dick show by mid-season.
That Was Then - Maybe.
Life With Bonnie - Not too sure.
Dinotopia - I really can't say. Possibly might succeed.
Push, Nevada - Interesting, may stick around
MDs - May face competition from Presidio Med (CBS)

CBS:
Presidio Med: Seems more like it belongs on Lifetime, but it may do well.
C.S.I. Miami: How can it not succeed?
Bram & Alice: Won't last.
Still Standing: A possiblity it will last, I mean "Yes Dear" has, but the shows are a bit too similar, so it might bomb.
Robbery Homicide Division: Cop/drama/etc. shows seem to be a huge hit anymore, so there's a good chance it'll stick around.
Without A Trace - looks good, may stick around
Hack - interesting premise, may stick around
(CBS, imo, has too many gritty cop shows coming around, so who knows...)

NBC:
American Dreams - I hope it does, but it might not.
Boomtown - see "Robbery Homicide Division"
Hidden Hills - It could last
In Laws - Could last
Good Morning Miami - Just because it's behind Will and Grace doesn't mean a thing. It probably won't last.

FOX
Fastlane - Probably will stick around
John Doe - gone
Firefly - Fox may get desperate and keep it
Oliver Beane - I honestly have not heard of this show, LOL
The Grubbs - not sure, haven't watched FOX in soooo long, so I haven't seen any promos for it
girls club - FOX has said if it doesn't live up to something (i don't know what, LOL) it will cancel it. So it probably will be gone, but David E. Kelley shows have done pretty well.
Cedric Show - sticking around

WB
Everwood - Probably will stick around
Birds of Prey - I think it won't live up to what WB is hoping, and it'll be gone, but this IS WB and dramas usually stick around (well, some), so who knows
Family Affair - so much hype, it *could* survive a second season
Do Over - too much like "That Was Then" (ABC)
What I Like About You - it'll stick around

UPN
Half and Half - maybe, maybe not, but UPN is desperate so it'll be around for a while
Haunted - eh, I don't really care
Twilight Zone - may be around for a while

(Look at Raising Dad and Maybe It's Me, they had full seasons, but are gone, so you just don't know with comedies on WB)

im just gonna write down the shows i wanna comment on.

(abc)
8 simple rules~i think this will last. The casting is great and it looks pretty good. it probably wouldnt have a chance lasting on WB (it almost looks like a WB show) but on ABC it could have a chance

Life with Bonnie~i really dont see it on the aire after about a season or 2. Bonnie reminds me of Drew Carrey too much,so who knows.

That was then~It could be a really good idea, but it all depends on how well this show is written and done.

(cbs)
Standing Still~ i honestly dont see any sitcoms lasting, but if any of them do, its probably gonna be this one.

(nbc)
american dreams~looks like something anyone can enjoy. Reminds me of a special or something, but lets see how well it does as a series

Hidden Hills~alot of ads for this one. The network has alot of hopes for this one, so it might do pretty nicely.i could see it on a tuesday night slot, but not a thursday night slot

in-laws~ it could do well. ill watch the first episode, if it doesnt look good then, it probably never last.

good morning miami~this one im looking forward to. i'm hoping it will last and i have alot of faith that it will. It looks like a nice year for NBC and they know that when Friends is going that they need something really good to keep them #1 and it looks like they might be getting comfortable with Will & Grace,Skrubs & Good Morning Miami.

(fox)
fastlane~probably last
cedric the entertainer show~will probably last because its put on right after the bernie mac.

(wb)
everwood~probably will because it goes with Gilmore Girls nicely
What I Like About You~Looks like a really good show, but since its WB, it probably a Hit or miss. Most are hoping for a Hit. Amanda Bynes stars, so it might be a really good comedy.

That is such a joke. Look at Jesse. It was after Friends and it got canceled after 2 seasons. Jesse was just as funny as Friends, I don't know why it was canceled so soon. So it doesn't mean anything that Good Morning Miami is after Will & Grace.

I don't think so. NBC as gotten a reputation of cancelling shows very quickly. And I think they learned there lesson last season when they premiered alot of bad shows on Thursdays. And realized that they had shows 3 seasons ago that were quite better and could do really well now. I at least hope they learned their lesson.

Also wanted to comment on American Dreams. It looks really good like another Wonder Years. Hope it last at least 6 seasons.

I agree with you I think that NBC is handling their Thursday Night well. They went to Tuesday to get some shows that had been on for a while, and they even let Scrubs last a year on Tuesdays before bringing it to Thursdays. So NBC is being careful and I think they won't be too quick to cancel any of their sitcoms.

~Predictions~

~NBC Sitcoms~
I think that Good Morning Miami and In-Laws will last this season I'm not sure about Hidden Hills, I think it may get cancelled.

~CBS~
Still Standing Looks pretty good I think it might be able to last the season and it has a good timeslot. Bram And Alice looks funny but I don't know if the people will give it a chance, so CBS may cancell it.

~ABC~
8 Simple Rules... will last the season Life With Bonnie may be good but I think that ABC will cancel it before it finds an audience.

NBC- I think Hidden Hills and the In-Laws have a shot to suceed on NBC. They LOOK pretty funny. I'll have to wait and see.

ABC- 8 Simple Rules has a solid cast and generating a lot of positive publicity so I think it'll last. This is like the fourth sitcom try for Bonnie Hunt so I'm not sure how Life with Bonnie will do.

WB- I like Birds of Prey's chances of succeeding especially if they pair it up with Smallville. Do Over is exactly like ABC's That was Then(Or whatever it's called) one of them has to go, so I say Do Over on the much smaller WB.

UPN- Half and Half...Who cares?

Fox- Fastlane will be cancelled in the fastlane! I think girls club has a shot.

CBS- Bram and Alice is destined to fail.

Established shows I think will get the boot:
1. Drew Carrey
2. Just Shoot Me
3. Becker
4. Grounded for Life
