You know where the backlash winds up extending to an earlier, initially well-received album. You also begin to reconsider whether that earlier album was as good as you initially thought.

Every artist is going to have a best and worst release. To me, their worst shouldn't make their best any less good. That has never made me walk away from any of my favorite singers anyway.
