Today I'm finally reviewing the oldest adult animated show, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031125256/http://www.jumptheshark.com/w/waittillyourfathergetshome.htm)! It's a Hanna-Barbera cartoon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wait_Till_Your_Father_Gets_Home) from the 1970s. And with how poorly some comedy can age, I wanted to inspect if the original adult animation could hold up now. This show had to walk (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WesternAnimation/WaitTillYourFatherGetsHome) so Family Guy, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, etc. could run. Adult Swim didn't even have their floaties.

Warner Archive is said to be planning a full series release of Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, but on blu ray discs, not DVD. What they really should do is release the second half of the series, episodes 25-48, on DVD since episodes 1-24 were previously issued on DVD. Fortunately, I have episodes 25-48 recorded from the Boomerang channel. Also have the series pilot episode from Love American Style.
