YouTube is probably the video equivalent of Wikipedia where the information is endless and one practically can find any video on any subject. Not to mention large catalog listing of musicians, groups and albums.

I have a smart TV (Roku) with Youtube App and must say when watching TV, I usually spend half of my time browsing Youtube channels. And not on any particular subject. One night I am watching how Hoover Dam was build. Or the next night, watching my favorite musicians. Or another night watching video of street food vendors in Kabul Afghanistan.

The channels I usually avoid are political or religion, or "personal" channels with shoddy videos that shakes or span&scan too fast. They should take a course in video shooting before uploading their videos :D

Don't spend a huge amount of time on YT, when I want to listen to a song I do there and also when info comes to me with a YT attachment.

Oh, I spend a lot of time on YouTube.

Right now, I have to say that my three favorite channels are French In Plain Sight and MsMojo and SchlagerLucas.

SchlagerLucas seem like an interesting channel as it showcase songs and singers from Europe. European version seem more glamorous than American version.

I watch more on YouTube than I do any other streaming services. I canceled our cable and switched to YouTube TV a few months ago. The amount of ads is a little overhwleming. I pay $11.99 to avoid any ads. I would be fine just watching YouTube.

I watch quite a few vloggers like Adam The Woo of TheDailyWoo who travel around the country. I enjoy watching movie and TV filming location videos. I also watch cemetery/grave channels like Lamont At Large / Fascinating Graveyard. There are many good content creators on there.

I don't have cable either since my TV came with Roku software and I practically get like 1000 channels for free. It comes with Ads which don't bother me. It also comes with other free streaming Apps such as Hulu, Tubi, PlutoTV, FreeVee and Crackle which one can find alot of classic TV shows or movies.


By the way, I like to watch cemetery/grave Youtube channels too :D
