I just checked out the New York Times link from October of 2019 pertaining to Sam Bobrick's (creator of Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which, of course, ultimately evolved into the immortal Saved By The Bell) death, and the article did indeed mention that the Chicago-born Bobrick was a victim of antisemitism in his teens, thus prompting his parents to relocate him from the gritty and grimy streets of the Windy City to his grandparents' home in quieter Benton Harbor, Michigan.

The more I read--and re-read--your thread, the more I'm slowly beginning to understand the message(s) you're trying to convey. I honestly believe in my heart of hearts that the character of Samuel "Screech" Powers (portrayed by the late Dustin Diamond) on both Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Saved By The Bell was somewhat semiautobiographical as well as a metaphor for Bobrick's traumatic childhood.
