That's true ! I never thought about it before, but watermelon isn't a tropical fruit. Even though we eat it alot in the summer months ( it's so refreshing) and associate it with hot weather , it's not a tropical fruit!

That's good. Hope they had avocados on the Island. They are filling and nutritious. However in the 60's when Gilligan's Island ran, avocados were not well known like they are now. As a kid I never heard of Guacamole ! It's delicious! First time I ever had avocados or guacamole was mid 80's when I moved to California !
