When do Lifetime's "Golden Girls" rights expire?

I have always been curious.


But I hope Lifetime renews their "GG" rights because they do a good job in airing the episodes.

I don't know when the contract expires but I'd love if it stayed on Lifetime because they play it 6 times a day. :) (Mon-Fri... actually, 7 times on Fri!)

It would be a shame if Lifetime didn't renew the contract, especially knowing
how popular Golden Girls still is. I wish
that Golden Girls could stay on Lifetime
permanently, forever and forever. Lifetime does do a good job at showing episodes, but I wish that they would air
more episodes. Does Lifetime even air every single episode? Does Lifetime own the rights to all the seasons of Golden Girls?

Yes... all 180 episodes, of all 7 seasons.

Yeah Lifetime does a really good job.

I woudn't mind if Golden Girls left Lifetime on one condition: Buena Vista releases all 7 seasons on DVD/VHS. I would love to personally own the series.

I completely agree with you.

Well, now Lifetime aires GG every morning at 10:00am also, but still at 9:00 and 9:30. Then three episodes of Mad About You air. I think it's just filler until other shows (Nanny & Caroline in the City) come along this year. I really hope Lifetime keeps GG. I'm 100% sure they will, because it's been a staple for years. The one show they MIGHT get rid of is Designing Women.
