Cheers Fanatic

On Thursday I went to Fenway Park (park of the Boston Redsox) and saw the Red Sox play against some Texan team. But it was so cool because I was feeling the whole Sam Malone thing...lol. I shouted at the bad pitchers: "You pitch worse than Sam Malone." People just kinda looked at me like I had three heads. It was so cool to be a part of Cheers (in some odd sort of way). Does anyone know if Ted, John, George, and Rhea actually went to Fenway Park in the episode where Sammy pitched to that guy and gave him a homerun because he heard that sob story from his fake grandson? I don't think they were really there because they didn't show the field....but it would be cool if they were because then I would have been in the same place that they had actually be in!!!
And, I have summer reading and I just finished my last book up this morning. It's called "A Prayer For Owen Meany" by John Irving. But that's not the cool part.... In the book, it makes reference to Beacon Street in Boston, Mass. That is the street Cheers is on, right? Anyways, I was so excited about that too. I was like, what are the odds? Two Cheers things that kinda popped up in places I wouldn't have imagined (well, more the book than the field), and all this happens in one week. It must be a sign. Either that or there is something really wrong with me. Anyone else here read Owen Meany, or have wierd Cheers things happen to them this week? lol
Well, sorry if I bored you with my useless chatter. Just thought you'd all like to know about my Cheerful week :-D
