I remember on the old IMDB Message Boards, someone posted something like,"I didn't like the This Christmas bathroom scene where Regina King's character spilled baby oil on the floor and then made her Husband who was taking a shower come out of the shower and made him slip while he was wet from the shower and then whipped him with a belt for cheating on her. This scene is well loved by many people, but I felt uncomfortable and sorry for the pain the Husband was in. A Poster responded,"I didn't like that scene either. When I watched that scene in the movie theater, EVERYONE else was cheering and laughing, but I was horrified. I was like:eek:

On the old IMDB Message Boards, in the I Can Do Bad All By Myself Forum, a Poster posted something like,"I STILL didn't like April even after she changed for the better and believed Jennifer over Randy and believed that Randy tried to rape Jennifer and April tried to electrocute him on Jennifer's befalf. I couldn't get over April's previous bitchiness when she was very selfish and willing to let Jennifer, Kwame, and Manley, her ONLY Niece and Nephews go to the Foster System after their Grandmother, April's Mother and sole caretaker for them died. April's Sister, Jennifer, Kwame and Manley's Mother had died of an overdose and April was the only viable Relative left to raise them and she was so selfish she would have let them go to Foster System rather than raise them, knowing they no longer had a Mother or a Grandmother. Just plain selfish. A Poster responded something like,"I thought I was the only one who still didn't like April even after she became nice and more open to Jennifer, Kwame and Manley. It seems we two are the only people who still didn't like April even after she changed for the better."
