I am a Cashier at Walgreens and I hate when Customers are rude and entitled. They tell at me about the Card Everyone for Cigarette and Alcohol thing. They are like,"Ma'am, I'm fucing 90 and I just want to buy a pack of Marlboro Cigarettes. I don't need an ID when I'm fucing 90!" It's Company Policy to card EVERYONE.
I hate when Customers knock on our break room door while we're eating, CLEARLY on our breaks to ask us to open the locked bathroom door for them. Just because the break room door is see through (The break room door REALLY should be solid, but it's a holdover from when bathrooms were always unlocked) , that doesn't mean Customers should knock on the door while we're clearly eating. Go ask someone who is on the clock to open for you, not someone clearly on break.:mad:
I hate the 30 minute lunch break. 30 minutes just isn't long enough. To put this into perspective, I had a meal that was paid for, fully warmed up and ready, and I had already used the bathroom, and I JUST had enough time within 30 minutes to comfortably eat the fully warmed up and ready meal. In a 30 minute lunch break, factor in a 2 minute walk to punch clock, 3 minute choosing food and drink, 1 minute walk to checkout line, 5 minute wait in line, 1 minute checkout, 2 minute walk to break room, 2 minute prepare, 4 minute warm up, and use bathroom during the warmup, 8 minutes to eat, 2 minutes to walk to punch clock. That's really not long enough break. 1 hour lunch break would be ideal. You can actually RELAX and ENJOY lunch with a 1 hour lunch break instead of eating fast like a crazy person within 8 minutes.
