MTV was a lot different from the mid-2000s onward and Beavis and Butt-head had little place on a channel like that anymore. With that being said, would have done better had it instead, gone to Comedy Central? Being that MTV and Comedy Central are owned by Viacom, it couldn't have been much of an issue to have them do commentary on Jersey Shore or anything like that.
