That's crazy. Getting the boot from FOL would be the best thing that happened for Molly Ringwald considering all her later success.

It seems like all the girls were friends even the ones that got cut. They were also apparently friendly with Nancy's brother, Philip, too. They were getting the boot regardless of who they would eventually hire as the 4th girl. I watched the making of FOL special on Tubi. Going off memory would guess Felice might be the one who was most put out by getting fired since she was actually the first girl hired and was supposedly promised a bigger role than what she actually got.

Felice, Julie and Julie Anne have always been very polite and respectful of the show and of the girls that continued. The only one that after 40 years is still bitter is Molly :) How can she blame Nancy McKeon? It sure wasn't Nancy's decision to fire her
