Come on Star Trek, stop teasing us with these unresolved storylines - we need to know what's next!

To be fair from the outset, it must be said that not every storyline needs a follow up. Some mysteries are best left unsolved, and some golden nuggets are dulled by over-exposure.
Finding the stories that beg for a follow-up then can be a challenge. Will the next chapter soar high, like Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan? Or will it be as memorable as Observer Effect - you know, that seminal episode of Enterprise that expanded on the lore of the Organians?
Yeah. Anyway.
Simply having an interesting cliffhanger does not qualify a story for a follow-up, in our opinion. There should be unanswered questions that need resolution, as opposed to 'could be resolved.'
Going through this list was not easy - so let us know what your favorite storyline that is screaming for a sequel is, and we may take that into account for a future list to this.
A sequel to a list about things needing sequels - its almost as though we planned this from the beginning. After all, sequels are a dish best served cold...and it is very cold...in TrekCulture towers.
