Perhaps you remember your best friend telling you this "how about going to Sisters for some chicken for lunch" and no he/she wasn't going to take you to eat at his/her sister's house for lunch but rather your friend was gonna take you to Sisters Chicken And Biscuits for lunch. In between Church's Chicken KFC and Popeyes Sisters was one of the most underrated fast food chicken spots and had few commercials advertising their deals on their chicken. As you view these commercials you can see why Sisters claimed to be better than KFC and Church's Chicken. In fact one of their spokesmen was a guy named Andy Griffith "not the classic sitcom star" who promoted Sisters in the 1980's and another shocking thing about these commercials is that the theme song featured in the commercials is the theme to Bob Ross's show The Joy Of Painting. Sisters Chicken And Biscuits went bankrupt though I don't know what year they closed. But you can see how good they were a competitor to KFC by watching these commercials
