To clarify, by "beginning", I'm referring to the syndicated nighttime version (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_of_Fortune_(American_game_show)) that has been on the air since 1983 (https://www.radiodiscussions.com/threads/stations-that-have-carried-wheel-of-fortune-since-the-beginning.762714/).

I like how KSDK 5 and WLS 7 being one of these stations aired at 6:30PM Central Timeslot on Weeknights throughout SYN Wheel’s airtime

For as long as I can remember my NBC station has carried Wheel Of Fortune together with Jeopardy and my NBC station airs Jeopardy first at 7PM PT then Wheel Of Fortune at 7:30 PT and Wheel Of Fortune is shown alone on Saturdays at 6:30PM PT but it's a rerun. I think why Wheel Of Fortune has become the most watched show in syndication is because syndicated game shows in the nighttime hours are the most successful for stations
