The writers guild have until tommorow to come up with a deal. Articles say daytime soaps along with talk shows would be most impacted. But the last writers strike in 2007 Soaps hired temp writers.

I know during previous strikes, the soaps have hired temp writers, some with no knowledge of the show or characters, so the quality of the writing and storylines really suffers during a strike. Hopefully, the strike will end soon. The soaps are already an endangered species and if a strike goes on too long, it won't bode well for the 4 remaining shows. Well, 3, since Days of Our Lives left network television and is only on streaming platform Peacock... :(
