I alway digged Jan more than Marcia. I think Marcia was just a tad stuck up. I even thought Jan was cuter. In fact, by the fifth season I would say Jan (Eve Plumb) was a total babe.

I was ab. 9 or 10 when the BB premiered...I thought Jan was much cuter (and prettier, actually, thanks to her hair) during the
first couple of seasons...

In season 3 and (especially) 4, I would give Marcia the edge in the
looks department, but I still remember seeing the opening credits
for season 5 for the first time...couldn't believe what a total babe
Jan had become over that summer...

In fact, when thinking back to Jan in season 5, I don't think that
she OR Marcia ever looked THAT good again..<sigh> What a babe!

I hated it when Marcia said that cruel thing to her in the "George Glass" episode: "Jan, don't blame me if boys aren't attracted to you." What a cruel witch!!!!! Jan looked as if she had been physically hit! Then Marcia just went back to what she was doing, like nothing happened!

MaryAnn from GI and Jan from BB seemed more down-to-earth and approachable, so they get my vote.

They were both pretty girls, but Marcia was exceptionally pretty in my opinion. I thought it way back then, and I think Maureen McCormick is still prettier than Eve Plumb today.
Maureen has an incredible face.

My fave was Marcia, but Jan was cool too.

If you go buy looks by the time the show ended Jan was down right Sexy a babydoll but as far as a charater Marica is much better

At the end of the initial run I was only 11 so I didn't have an opinion one way or the other, but as it began showing in reruns ( I distinctly remember me and my brother running through the house yelling "brady bunch!" when they first started rerunning it) Jan got to be about my age and then slightly younger (in the reruns), and I started to develop quite an attraction to her.

What kind of contest is this? Easily, MARCIA! Jan is a total loser. She never had the looks! Even in Season 5, when she somewhat improved herself, she still was never on par with Marcia! That comparison should never be made! Besides, I'd much rather go on a date with Marcia than Jan strictly from the personality basis! Jan would get on my nerves in a hurry! I still have a difficult time making it through any "Jan Scene"!
