I don't think we see Margaret Anderson wearing a hat either. It seems like we see Lucy Recardo wearing a hat often.

I think June was wearing a hat to one or more of those school meetings. Like when she went to that Mother's Club Tea with the Ooh-La-La blouse Beaver gave her.

Barbara looked very nice when she was dressed in formal attire, with cute earrings showing, and little gloves. I especially liked how she looked wearing her elegant little jackets, quite pretty. There were certainly occasional hat-wearing times -- I'll let those better versed in LITB than myself comment; here are a couple of examples:

My mom did not wear hats those years, although she would put on a babushka outdoors in windy or bitter cold weather; her hair length was usually around just-reaching-the-shoulders in the very early 1960s - partially pulled back, but not in updos.

I can't wait to see the King Charles coronation, I so hope we get a good look at Victoria Beckham in her hat, I will go crazy-nuts...!
