There is an interesting twist to one of the quiz questions, "Where's Aunt Bee in Return to Mayberry"?
Actually the name Aunt Bee is never mentioned, her likeness is never shown (no pictures), her name never appears in any form. I don't think that's an accident. Griffith stated that he and Ron tried to speak to Frances and she turned them away. I wonder if she did more than that, maybe threatened to sue if her likeness appeared or a film clip or picture of her was shown. I believe Andy tells Opie he has something to do or someone to see, the scene shifts to Andy standing in front of a headstone as voice actress Janet Waldo does a somewhat generic old woman's voice leaving the audience to infer that's Aunt Bee. We never see the headstone inscription, When Andy departs the gravesite, he runs into Thelma Lou and asks her what's she doing there (Thelma Lou never asked Andy the same question). Janet Waldo's performance is uncredited.

That's interesting.
This also makes me wonder why Andy and Opie never seem to think about Opie's mother, who must be buried somewhere nearby.
