How are they airing 3 episodes in 1 hour? I don't get it.

They're only 2 episodes. During the run of the show, 20 episodes were 'not' produced - - ABC assigned numbers to days that the show didn't air, like say on Christmas the show wouldn't air but that day would still get an episode number. So if an episode is like 391/392, that means it's Episode 391, but since there is no 392 it got added to that. Earlier on during the show's first year, they wouldn't add the /number thing and isntead just skip it (Which is why episode guides go from 108 to 111) but after the first three times it happened they just did the / thing. I hope that made sense lol

From information I've gathered, they've changed the channel, and episode 637 & 638 air on September 6th. www.darkshadows.com

That schedule is incorrect. It lists episodes airing on September 2nd. Nothing aired on September 2nd, #627 aired at 10:30am on Thursday and the opening scene replayed today. So that schedule is two episodes ahead.

Whoops. I'm sorry, I didn't even acknowledge that. Shame on the site updater!

Umm, Dark Shadows is way better than Passions on SO many levels. C'mon Sean, tell him.

I like Dark Shadows because they do good storylines that I enjoy, and it is really eary, and from being from the '60s, it's like watchin' an old horror movie. And it's so great.

OMG you will watch Dark Shadows but not Passions! Passions is kind of like DS. Except Passions storylines move slow. DS is really fast and most of the actors know how to act!! Passions is great, Juliet (Tabitha) is wonderful on the soap. I love that witch! Did DS ever make any Christmas episodes?

Nope, no Christmas episodes. Dark Shadows was under heavy fire when it finally got a large audience (late 1967/early 1968) by religous groups saying the show was the 'devil's candy'. Lara Parker even got a letter from a person telling her to get away from satan and come back to the light  So they rarely went into religion or religious holidays.
