9x01 - Chaos Theory
-Romano's arm gets severed from above the elbow by a helicopter rotor and he passes out when he sees it lying 20 ft. away. [I want that prop!]
-Susan & Luka are covered in Romano's blood.
-Elizabeth's in England.
-Abby & Carter are still in the room...
-Chen & Pratt are still in the room...
-Abby & Carter are making shadow puppets.
-Romano's arm has to be reattatched.

9x02 - Dead Again
-Abby & Carter: talking...showering...laughing
-Romano's in physical therapy, telling Weaver not to get too comfortable in his job.
-Gallant's turn to take a crack at the psych rotation.
-Pratt's arrogance devastates a family.
-Luka steals glances over at Abby and Carter.
-Elizabeth returns to County, and it appears she forgot to bring her bedside manner back with her.

9x3 Insurrection
-Syringes thrown, guns pulled, vibrators whizzing into the hallway...
-Hello, Abby's brother.
-Susan, Deb, and Abby have a girls' night out...Deb dancing on speakers and crowd surfing.
-Luka tells Abby he's happy for her.
-Slow security reaction is suddenly an issue after 8 years.

9x04 - Don't Call Me Mikey
-Luka pulls a Malucci in the storage closet.
-Abby morphs into Carol some more by unwillingly becoming nurse manager.
-Kerry screws up big time on live television.
-Elizabeth manages to find her former bedside manner again.
-Carter bitches at Susan for barhopping with Abby.

Oh yeah...there will be a new cast member...
"Leslie Bibb is set to join the cast of NBC's top medical drama "ER" next season. She will play Erin Harkins -- a medical student who comes to work in the ER -- on the John Wells Prods./Warner Bros. TV show. Bibb's deal is for five episodes with an option for more, and she will first appear in the second episode of the new season. -It's Halloween. Ella's a cow, Carter's a skeleton, and Abby's a "Naughty Nurse". Use your imagination.
-Romano returns to work and hovers too close for Elizabeth's liking.
-Elizabeth supervises a new flock of med students, including Paul Nathan, who's confident, great with patients and has Parkinson's.
-Romano returns Elizabeth's wedding ring.
-The staff treats a woman and her baby after a homebirth gone bad.
-An apartment building fire brings burn patients once more - in various costumes.
-Luka acts like an ass to everybody: he lets his personal problems affect his work.



Sally Field will be back this season playing Abby's mom Maggie for 4 eps.

Maura's hair will be blondish this season. Wanna see a pic?

I just got the spoilers for the 6th ep. here they are.

9x06 - The Lottery
-A disciplinary hearing is scheduled for Luka, after the nurses [minus Abby and the male nurses] sign a petition against him.
-Elizabeth is still struggling to connect with her patients, and resistant to Nathan working as a surgeon.
-Carter and Abby have a night out with Eric and his new girlfriend, whom Abby has concerns about.
-Pratt tries to reassure a shaken Chen after a bad day.

-Nathan begins to become unsure in the face of Elizabeth's discouragement.

-Abby turns to Carter for support "as her world closes in around her" when Eric goes AWOL and is later arrested.

-Luka is confronted by the husband of a woman he's been sleeping with, and later leaves a bar with a prostitute.

-Oh, and Weaver's pregnant.
(She's happy about it and she's still with Sandy.)

-Kerry (with Sandy standing next to her) to Susan: " We're going to have a baby. "
