Barney Miller Detective Duty Chalk Board that you see on the show contains names of some of the production crew. When the chalk board is in the scene, look at the bottom half names, you'll see they match some of the names in the credits at the end of the show. It seems through out the series, the names are changed on the chalk board to reflect some of the new names in the credits.

There is an episode, "Community Relations," season 3,: episode 13, where Barney is reading off names and the other guys are reminding him of their status:

Dietrich...out
Wentworh...vice

This is just after Batista's episodes, and as Dietrich was just cycling in to replace Fish. Wilson and Wentworth were long gone.
