The annual TV upfronts to introduce the new fall schedules for the various networks are less than a month away and here is when you can expect them to take place.

Mon May 15 - Morning - NBCUniversal - Radio City Music Hall - New York

Mon May 15 - Afternoon - Fox - The Manhattan Center - New York

Tue May 16 - Afternoon - Disney (including ABC) - North Javits Center

AdWeek - TV Upfronts and Newfronts - 2023 (https://www.adweek.com/convergent-tv/adweek-tv-upfronts-and-newfronts-2023-calendar/)

CBS and CW will sit out the week's events, preferring to stage their own festivities at a separate time and place. CBS will have a series of upfront events organized by their parent company Paramount at the Chelsea Theatre in New York at the end of April. By the time the other networks have their turns, CBS should have already made their fall schedule public.

Once the upfronts end, it will soon be time for the Canadian networks to announce their schedules and US series acquisitions for the coming fall season. This is when they will take place:

CBC - Thursday June 1

IndieTV - includes CHCH TV - Thursday June 1

Rogers Media/CITY TV/Sportsnet - Tuesday June 6

Corus Entertanment/Global TV/Pluto TV Canada - Wednesday June 7

Bell Media/CTV/TSN - Thursday June 8

ThinkTV - Upfronts 2023 (https://thinktv.ca/post/upfronts-2023/)

I'll have the details and results from this group after they are announced.

I used to look forward to them every year. I haven't really payed attention to them in almost a decade. I just don't watch many current primetime shows anymore..

I looked forward to the schedules and the weekly rating reports. Now for me just take the 'm' out of the above sentence.
