I found it funny that the character Mr. Furley never had a girlfriend or a wife the entire time he was on three'scompany. I guess the producers felt that the Mr. Furley character was too square for a wife or girlfriend

Maybe they figured an old bachelor, pathetically trying to be hip would bring more laughs than a married couple.

You would think that since Mr. Furley was such a hip swinger that he would look the other way at the roommate's co-ed situation (and try and keep it secret from his "brother Bart") without them having to keep up the 'gay' charade....

But it was pricelessly funny just the way it was!:lol:
