When i watched the jeffersons-george and weezie always looked like they were in the same age group-espcially the first season-It's so hard to believe that Sherman Hemsley was 37 years old when the Jeffersons debuted in January of 1975.

Yeah, Isabel Sanford was born in 1917 while Sherman was born in 1938, I havent seen that many eps. of this shoew , but I love what ive seen, I will watch more eps. in the future and hope to post here more

Well the pilot episode for the jeffersons was shown on a all in the family episode which may come on tonight or sometime this weekend on Nickoloden.

Wow..I never would have guessed!! She looked GOOD for her age!

I don't believe Sherman Hemsley was only 37. Like most actors, he was probably "fudging" his age. He looked about 45.

Isabel still looks great today. She's about 75 or 80...but looks like she's only about 50 or 55! Sherman has always looked older than her.

It was hard for me to believe that George was only 37 also during the Jeffersons first season. To me, George looked about 47, 48.
