I dont know the whole story but from I know, Harry and Meghan talked very badly about the family and their so called treatment of them to them. Harry and Meghan has seemed to make a cottage industry out of talking bad about the family, so can one blame the family for their attitude towards Harry and Meghan.

In some ways, I feel bad for Harry. He has never been in a position to do whatever he might have wanted to do in his life. He (and his brother) cannot live "a normal life". Harry just couldnt go shopping, go to a McDonalds, go to a sporting match. He has no privacy whatsoever. This lack of privacy would drive me insane. Not to mention his mother dying a violent death in that car crash and him having to read for decades all kinds of stories about her, many surely which are falsehoods, half truths and put her in a bad light. Add to the fact that his father's family in private never really liked her in the first place. It seems to me that the marriage of Charles and Diana was sort of forced. Charles was in his 30's and his mother probably told him to find a woman and start having children to continue the line, and no, you cannot marry Camilla.

I think the family disliked Meghan from the start, probably because she is half black and American, and if Harry was the first born son probably would have actively tried to break them up. Meghan it seems hasnt done herself any favors to them. She was a two bit TV actress when they met, and surely did so partially so she can be cared for the rest of her life (and she will). Some say she was the one who got Harry to hate and talk bad about his family, and there might be some validity there, but it seems to me that I would want good relations with them so the money keeps flowing, but Harry probably wanted to get out on his own and this path is the way he makes his money.

Cant really have it both ways. The older brother William seems to be done with him. Harry is not required or needed in the grand scheme of things, and the monarchy is good to go until the 22nd Century barring the apocolypse or the abolishment of the monarchy itself. If I was British, part of me would want to end it because it is a waste of tax dollars. But it is a symbol of the Nation.

I would enjoy being some flies on Harry and Meghan's walls in their palace.

How can Harry not see his father coronated as king? It's unfathomable to me.

Update

Prince Harry will attend father’s coronation, Meghan won’t (https://www.mlive.com/news/2023/04/prince-harry-will-attend-fathers-coronation-meghan-wont.html)

I, personally, am still undecided.

Queen Elizabeth died several months ago. They sure take their time crowning the new king.

Charles is lucky that Harry agreed to attend. No one else seems to want to, so he needs at least one notable person there. I personally would stay home.

The everyday caricatures of the former Prince Charlie have become more hideous than ever:

By all accounts, the U.K. people generally do not embrace him, I think it's fair to say.
