Well, that's just wait a while and see if it is indeed TJ joking around ? Normally if someone is banned a thread isn't made about it I don't think? And that " Adios Muchacho " clip also leads me to think this isn't real!?

I also think Opus deserves a full reinstatement. He's been here for 8 years and has almost 25,000 posts. It's not like he's a brand new Member and made 6 Valerie B threads like a true spammer/Troll would have done. It's possible he was just having a weird and bored day when he made 6 Valerie B threads. Or it's possible he was hacked. A Long time Poster on another board was hacked and the hacker made a bunch of creepy and disturbing posts, that was really out of character for that Poster as he was normal, wise,and mature. This Poster had to make a new Account I think because the Hacker changed the password too. The Poster was like,"My Greatest GOAT Account was hacked and the Hacker made a bunch of creepy and disturbing posts and changed my password so I can't even edit those posts. I had to make this brand new Account. Admins, please ban my Greatest GOAT Account since it's been hacked." The Admins banned the Greatest GOAT Account." Maybe that's what happened to Opus? A Hacker who hacked his Account? :/

The truth of the matter is that TJ is a mean, spiteful, vindictive individual who was clearly looking for any excuse to ban opus for something else because he sure as hell was not "flooding" the boards. That is ridiculous and it's an outrageous lie. Seeing as how TMC floods the boards EVERY DAY and nothing is ever done is proof that opus was not banned for "flooding." That is just an excuse and an obvious cover for something else.

Hmm. I was permanently nuked after contributing $100 to a certain Website's Meet Up Event and was thanked for contributing to their Dinner. I was permanently nuked days after for going on a fed up cussing rant to an Admin who had harassed and insulted me for three years before I finally had enough one day and blew up on her.

To me it looked pretty unusual for 5 Valerie B posts to appear as they did on the General Chit Chat forum.... If anything should they have been posted in the area with other Valerie posts??? I was a little reluctant to even do it because I knew how some might react to it. Banning a popular well-liked member over something so absurd looks crazy.

He actually wanted to do something last year, but there was another issue around that time. He postponed it. He put a lot of thought and planning into this idea. I couldn't turn down his request.

It appears that Opus does not have the banned sign on his page anymore so I think Opus learned his lesson and why he got banned was a surprise because Opus is a nice guy and he always is so friendly to all of us here. Maybe next time we should all show a lot of kindness to him

opus had been planning this elaborate prank for the last year, but she was never part of it. I could have predicted her very real reaction. It didn't surprise me at all. Thankfully I have thick skin to deal with her scathing criticsm.

She simply lacks a sense of humor. Sometimes I wonder if she has a heart and brain. She can be a little bit :cuckoo if you know what I mean.

She has some type of personal vendetta or beef with me because I suspended her a few times for perfectly valid reasons.

Most admins would not put up with an online troll like her who causes trouble and drama. They would just ban her and be done with it. I think she is a somewhat decent member on the sitcom boards, so I've learned to tolerate her.

She would likely try to circumvent a ban with one of her other user names. A number of people can't stand her and have her on their ignore list, so I would prefer to keep her on one user name. No need to create more work than necessary.

The joke was hilarious, especially that some people believed it.

It was a very convincing joke. Especially TJ claiming he warned Opus to stop flooding the board with Valerie B Threads and he still did it, so TJ banned him. Opus did make 6 random Valerie B Threads in a couple of days which made the joke ban seem more realistic. In hindsight, Opus should have made even more Valerie B Threads, like 16 random Valerie B Threads to make the joke ban look even more realistic because a lot of posters were like,"He only made 6 Valerie B Threads, he deserves a full reinstatement!" But maybe 16 random Valerie B Threads would have made the joke ban more understandable but he'd still have Posters standing up for his reinstatement.

You know it! Whoever came up with the idea should be banned! :mad:
