Yea yea yea...I know, this should be in the GeneralSitcoms forum, but Im gonna post it here instead, because I know a lot of you are my age or younger. Anyways...does anyone remember the show Beakmans World? lol It used to be on Saturday Mornings. It was a science show with 2 sidekicks (one dressed as a rat). I thought that show was so funny..and I found it a lot more entertaining that Bill Nye the Science Guy--IMO. I wish Beakmans World was re-ran still!

...at one point? I saw the original girl co-host, as the lesbian girl (the one 'sweet' on Marcia) in the 'Brady Bunch' movie!

And that 'rat' guy was TOO cool! GREAT show!! :D

I remember Beakmans World! I had forgotten about that show until you brought it up! I watched it several times. I thought it was funny although it was kinda weird.

My aunt wrote books for that show!! If y'all ever see any of those experiment books, see if Luann Columbo wrote it. She's my aunt! :) Well, sorta my aunt. She's my mom's cousin. But I call her Aunt Luann

The twin titans of Science education in the 90s. Coke and Pepsi. Deep Impact and Armageddon. Bill Nye The Science Guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_DRYn9--Qk) and Beakman's World.

These two stupendous shows taught us creativity, wonder, and inquisitiveness, but which of them did a better job at that? We here at Too Many Tapes Labs have come up with a foolproof system for discovering the Top Science Dude, so join me as we look fondly back on these Mr. Wizard wannabes who eclipsed the very person they sought to pay homage to.
