SOAPDYNASTY 08-21-2002, 08:46 PM Hi, I know that the cast from make room for daddy crossover on the lucy-desi show in episode make room for danny but was the lucy-desi cast ever on his show make room for daddy???? As a side note, Ann Sothern who guest starred on the very first Lucy-Desi hour, had the show Private Secretary (Ann Sothern Show) and Lucille Ball as Lucy Ricardo appeared on that show, but Desi (Ricky) didn't. SPLAIN 09-18-2002, 11:08 AM I just got Make room for daddy and make room for granddaddy, and neither is one tenth as funny as Make room for Danny on the Lucy Desi comedy hour. Typical Lucy stuff, she shows up and stays with them and Danny gets into bed with her thinking it's his wife. It's still nice to see old shows you seldom get to see, all these old Lucy appearances are good for seing Lucy, regardless of the quality of the material. And Lucy always worked well with Danny, who at one time wanted to buy Desilu from her and also made millions producing TV shows. She also appeared with him in his show The Practice which only lasted a little while! |
