If you remember this catchphrase you might remember Signal Mouthwash and please note that the first part of the catchphrase was not used in the commercial but one I made up myself in case you are wondering. In 1982 Signal Mouthwash debuted on store shelves and to honor it's debut a series of commercials was made. Signal Mouthwash was a mint flavored mouthwash that claimed to be better than Scope and Lavoris and really worked on teeth as the commercial demonstrated. Signal Mouthwash is still sold on the market but in limited areas but when you see the commercials you'll be reminded of how toothpaste and mouthwash commercials used to be simple compared to today's commercials for mouthwash. Another interesting fact is that actor Peter Billingsley from A Christmas Story appeared in a Signal Mouthwash commercial too
